Summer GarageBand Live Looping Competition 2023

Students from all over the country have been fine tuning their live looping performance and arrangement skills for our Summer Competition.

Held online over the penultimate week of term and judged by an expert panel, the competition saw entries from Primary Schools from all over Leicester and Leicestershire and beyond!

Entrants needed to submit:

• A performance from written Loop Sequence Notation showing attention to musical detail and accurate timing.
• A second performance of their own loop-based arrangement showing strengths when selecting loops, triggering columns and/or single loops, adding FX and creating dynamic interest.
