Teaching Gadget

We are working in partnership with Teaching Gadget to provide schools in Leicester and Leicestershire access to an interactive online music education resource called Teaching Gadget. It includes games, quizzes and instrument specific activities which are accessible to students both at school and at home.

Teaching Gadget's games and quizzes are self-marking, and generates tracking data which can be exported as a spreadsheet to be included in your mark book. The data can also be filtered by quiz, date, class and student so that you can select what is relevant to your needs.

These are great tools to include in your lesson as, for instance, starters or plenaries, and set as homework to consolidate learning.

A Leicestershire Music subsidised subscription is £100 per year per school, reduced from £160. This offer is only valid when you subscribe via Leicestershire Music and is only available to a limited number of schools in Leicester and Leicestershire.

Resources are free to schools we are funded to work with which includes all academies, free schools, local authority maintained schools, colleges and special schools within Leicester and Leicestershire.
