Please note that we are currently unable to hire out stringed instruments due to stocktaking.

Instrument Hire for Adults
If you are an adult looking to hire an instrument, please contact us via music@leics.gov.uk stating which instrument you would like to hire. We can then check availability and contact you to advise and arrange.

If you represent an organisation requiring instruments for a project or performance, please contact us to let us know what you need - we may be able to help! music@leics.gov.uk

Instrument Hire for Young People (up to 18 yrs)

Please see the information below. Hire is charged at the termly rates of £11 for band 1, £22 for band 2 and £33 for band 3 instruments. Please see the table below for which instruments fall under which price banding.

All instrument hire is subject to availability and our terms and conditions.

Leicestershire Music is able to offer Instrument Hire to residents of Leicestershire only.

FREE Instrument Hire rates will be available to pupils meeting the Help with costs criteria. If you already have an instrument on loan and want to return it or need to move to a different size instrument, please get in touch with us via music@leics.gov.uk
