Welcome to our Instrument Hire page.
We offer two types of Hire -
Premium Instruments (purchased since 2025).
Standard Instruments (from our existing stock)

Instruments can only be hired for Young People up to age 18 either residing in Leicestershire or attending a Leicestershire School. All instrument hire is subject to availability and our terms and conditions. A Discounted Instrument Hire rate of £5 per month will be available to pupils meeting the Help with costs criteria.

If you already have an instrument on loan and want to return it or need to move to a different size instrument, please get in touch with us via LMinstruments@leics.gov.uk

Instrument Hire for Adults / Organisations
If you are an adult looking to hire an instrument, please contact us via LMInstruments@leics.gov.uk stating which instrument you would like to hire. We can then check availability and contact you to advise and arrange.
