In partnership with the Leicester Music Board, Leicestershire Music are proud to offer a FREE music careers conference to young people aged 14-18 who are interested in pursuing one of the many careers available in the music industry.

Leicester Music Conference 2025
A unique opportunity for young people considering a career in music. Come along and meet industry professionals and explore pathways into a variety of careers from performing, recording, sound engineering, music education, event management, music technology and more!

The day will consist of panel discussions where young people can pose their questions to organisations and individuals from a range of careers, get advice and support around the skills they need for a career in music, explore new equipment and resources and find out what funding is available to help them.

There will also be a session aimed at parents and teachers around careers in the creative industry and live music performances throughout the day.

Confirmed attendees include Tik Tok, PPL PRS, UK Music, Discover Creative Careers, Armed Forces Music and Music Minds Matter.

Bookings are welcome from both schools and individuals, please use the link below to book your place.
Please find a flyer below for school to download and circulate. Places are free (for students and supporting adults), but limited (the venue can host up to 250 pupils on the day) so please book early to guarantee your places. We recommend bringing a group of between 15 and 20 students per school to really get the best out of the day.
