Enriching & Connecting Your World
Through Life Changing Musical Experiences
Updated 30th November 2021
Welcome to Leicestershire Music - the beginning of a new journey and chapter in our history, (we've been teaching music to young people in Leicestershire since 1948).
We have made the decision to change our name to the more inclusive 'Leicestershire Music'. We'll still be working in partnership with schools and other local and regional music education organisations however any partnership working will now come under the name of 'Leicestershire Music Hub'.
Over the past year, we have been planning on how we can best connect with and support the young people of Leicester & Leicestershire with their music making. We have a new energy and direction, which we believe will begin to make a huge difference to the lives of young people, reflecting their musical needs and interests and providing fully inclusive opportunities allowing everyone to be involved in music making.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with and for you in our next exciting chapter as Leicestershire Music!
At Leicestershire Music, the health and well-being of our audiences, musicians, participants and staff is of the highest priority. We will continue to support musicians, staff, parents and our audiences as best as we can and would like to thank everybody for their understanding and patience.
Our Covid 19 Information & Guidance page contains the latest guidance for Leicester and Leicestershire schools on safe musical learning.
