Continued Professional Development (CPD)

Please see our new video showing a training session by LSMS on best practice for delivering our new Leicester-Shire Primary Scheme of Work.

Thanks to your feedback in 2017-18, we were able to produce a rich and varied CPD offer last year which we hope reflected your development needs and interests. We understand the challenges of attending CPD and so this year we have been working hard to make courses more affordable, accessible and meaningful whilst still bringing the very latest and highest quality CPD into Leicestershire.

As music in schools becomes increasingly squeezed and many of you are working at it alone, we have introduced more opportunities to meet up with your peers and network as well as take control of your own learning with CPD led social events and qualifications now on offer including the opportunity to work towards a Masters – please see our dedicated Masters in Teaching and Learning page for more information and registration form.

The Annual Music Educators Conference is also back again this year so please visit our website regularly for updates on the 'line-up'.

All bookings can now be completed online with special offers available for PGCE students, NQT and NQT+1, SCITT, Governors, Multi Academy Trusts and Teaching School Alliances.

We are in the process of completing our CPD brochure for the academic year 18 /19 - this will be uploaded shortly.

Any questions or suggestions? We would love to hear from you.
