Music Education Community Pilot Project – paid partnership opportunity!

Leicestershire Music are looking to engage with community music and arts organisations/artists to help deliver our Big Audacious Goal! In the next 5 years, we aim to increase the number of young people (YP) accessing music making opportunities. We particularly want to improve access to opportunities for YP from diverse and under privileged backgrounds.

To achieve this we are working with partner schools in the targeted areas of both Highfields (Leicester City) and Coalville (Leicestershire County) to help highlight music to their pupils and embed new and sustainable opportunities for them to get involved in, both in and out of school. For one week every term during the academic year, the partner schools will come off timetable to participate and immerse themselves in a week of themed activities that explore and celebrate music and creativity. We are looking to commission local arts and music education organisations/individual artists to deliver on this pilot project.
