Group Finder

JAM Band

JAM Band is a newly formed group for beginner musicians to be part of a fun, energetic ensemble, performing in a variety of styles, such as rock, pop, jazz, classical and soundtracks. Music will be catered to the group, allowing for brand-new beginners up to Grade 1 (Trinity/ABRSM) musicians to play together. Come along and make music! The JAM Band is conducted by Joe Millson and supported by Jenny Tse and Sophie Gray.

Suitable for year 4 upwards plus any SEND children. We would like the group to be as inclusive as possible

Date/Time : Saturdays 9:15am - 10:15am

Run by our friends at Drum and Brass, No Bars is an inclusive orchestra suitable for any instrument learner (beginner or otherwise) and takes place on Tuesday evenings. Snazzy Strings - City

A Saturday morning string group with lots of pop and film music to play along to whilst learning new skills. Suitable for total beginners up to Grade 1 on violin, viola, 'cello and double bass. Welcome to anyone aged 7 – 18 years (Year 3 equivalent upwards). Conductors are Otto Li and Ann Winkless

Strictly Strings

Strictly Strings gives young string players the opportunity to play in a group setting and experience an orchestral sound. The group plays a wide range of music, including pop and film arrangements as well as classical pieces.

Being part of this group is guaranteed to improve your general playing, sight-reading, listening and gives you a huge sense of satisfaction. Making new friends, tuck shop and "fun facts" also form part of Saturday mornings.
