Ideas and discussion on how to get more boys to sing in KS3/KS4/KS5 settings.
This session will focus on how we create a culture in which boys are not only willing but eager to sing!
Song choices, range of materials, guidance and support on changing voices, as well as some ideas and discussion on what works and what doesn't in getting (and keeping) boys singing.
Whilst all school settings are different and no two boys are the same, there are some things we can do as teachers/educators to maximise the chances that boys who can sing, will want to sing, and that this will be accepted and celebrated by other students, including the boys themselves!
Come with questions and help be part of a positive and realistic session looking at how we can get more boys singing at a higher level for a larger part of their KS3/KS4/KS5 journey!
Cost: Free for all Leicester and Leicestershire schools. £10 to non Leicester and Leicestershire schools
