Free Music Education Technology Workshop with Christie Haddad

Date: Tue, 07 Feb 2023, 15:30 - 16:30
Venue: Online
Free online music workshop to help you develop your music teaching skills using both classroom instruments and simple digital/electronic tools.
We're very fortunate to have Christie Haddad, an experienced Early Years teacher and music specialist, offer a free online workshop to our network. She is a seminar lead at King's College London and at the University College London. She is now completing her PhD at the Institute of Education and is specialising in music education technology.
This exciting workshop will help you develop music teaching skills using both classroom instruments and simple digital/electronic tools. You will not need any prior experience in music to participate. All the relevant skills/knowledge will be covered during the session itself.
The workshop will be a lot of fun, and will be a chance to undertake a collaborative, social, shared activity alongside other delegates online.
Eligibility: to sign up, you will need to have a partner with you (in real life!) for the workshop. Added bonus if you're three in the same room.
The session will take place over Zoom. To sign up, please fill out the form below:

All digital tools will be online and can be accessed through a browser.
Delegates would need a percussive instrument – if that is not available to them, they can use objects to make sound in their surroundings (pots/pans/pencils/cups...).
