Leics Make Music - Summer 2020 took place on Tuesday 14th July from 3.00pm and featured the premiere of the A Million Dreams Project which 230 voices recorded during lockdown as well as the three winners of the Soundtrack to Leicestershire composition competition
There were also five festival stages:
Leics Perform Together - The LSMS Performance Groups.
Leics Be Inspired - Inspirational performances to inspire young people in their music making.
World class DJ and producer Jon1st mixes an original set for Leics Make Music
Quirky covers and original songs from King Brass a 7-piece brass and percussion ensemble
Violinist, composer and producer Seth Bye performs some specially recorded covers for Leics Make Music.
Leics Introduce - We are thrilled to have received so many fantastic entries and will include as many highlights as we can to try and represent as many people as we can
Leics Get Involved - Instrument demos and the chance to find out about music making opportunities in Leicester
The festival is presented by the LSMS Youth Ambassadors who have been involved in putting the festival together.
Each stage will be broadcast separately and will follow on from each other, linked by messages from the young people involved in putting the festival together.
