Djembe Scheme of Work
Leicestershire Music have developed a fully planned and video-led KS2 Djembe Scheme of Work, in which children will be introduced to several techniques, including how to play key rhythms and an understanding of the cultural heritage of the instrument.
The unit, pitched for KS2 year groups, consists of 10 fully PowerPointed and video driven lessons covering a range of music curriculum outcomes and instrumental skills. The resources are created to be used even if there is no previous experience on the instrument or of teaching music and there is a developed training session included with the resource to support with the teaching. The information about the training will be sent to you once you have booked the resource.
Pricing:
1 term access to the 10 lessons only £150 (for schools who own their own djembe already)
