Date: Wed, 10th Apr 2024, 15:45 - 16:45

Venue: Online

'Understanding Notation'– Covering the NC requirement to 'Use and understand staff and other musical notations,' this session will help you get to grips with everything you need to know and how to apply this musically in the classroom.

Teachers can choose to attend 1 of the 3 dates offered (content is the same for all 3 sessions).

This online session will cover the early introduction of notation from graphic form, through to stick and dot notation, before moving on to standard notation taught in KS2. The session is designed to support teacher knowledge and confidence in fulfilling the NC requirements for notation and how to ensure these are taught musically within the classroom.

This training course is offered FREE to schools buying a WCIT project in 2023/24 alongside another FREE session on 'Singing Assemblies' (schools can choose 1 of the 3 session dates offered for this which will be on different days to notation).
