During this afternoon session you will have the opportunity to:
- Observe teaching using the djembe to create music
- Learn new djembe rhythms that you can use with your class.
- Take part in music making through playing a djembe in a group
- Question and Answer session to support you in delivering djembe playing to your pupils
Outline of timings :
1:30pm - Observe a lesson – Using African drumming as part of the a music curriculum.
2.15pm - Teacher session – learning activities and rhythms to use.
3.15pm - Question and answer session.
