Choir of the Year Competition
2026

The Choir competition is a fabulous performance opportunity for your young people to work towards, as well as an opportunity to showcase your choir, with the chance to perform on the stage at the prestigious De Montfort Hall.

There are 2 categories; Primary and Secondary

As well as having the honour of being crowned as the Primary or Secondary Leicestershire Music Choir of the Year 2026 you will also win:

• The opportunity to have a recording made of the winning songs
• Guaranteed performance at a Leicestershire Music De Montfort Hall event - date tbc
• A Plaque to display in school.

How to Enter

Please complete the Choir Competition Entry Form (clicking this text will download the form so please check your downloads folder) and submit it and your recorded entry via dropbox using the link below.

Entries must be received by 5:00pm on Friday 6th March 2026

Five Primary and five Secondary choirs will be selected to take part in the Grand Final on Tuesday 28th April at De Montfort Hall.
