How did you get involved with Leicestershire Music?
I answered a job advert recruiting a Temporary Singing Leader in 2018.
What's your favourite thing about Leicestershire Music?
The variety of projects we have on offer, the way we inspire young people and help to shape their musical journey .
What is one of your best moments at Leicestershire Music?
Conducting the primary massed choir and orchestra in a performance of Adiemus.
Tell us a little about your work outside of Leicestershire Music
I teach music (piano and singing ) privately to pupils in North West Leicestershire and in my spare time I sing in a duo.
What is the main skill you have learnt at Leicestershire Music?
To be able to juggle – music delivery is only part of it. You have to have strong admin skills and be able to communicate well.
What book have you read that you would recommend to others?

What advice would you give to yourself when you were just starting out as a facilitator/musician?
Be organised!
