Designed upon the current CIL provision, Musician in Residence embeds our specialist teacher within your musical provision to develop a progressive approach to developing young musicians
Through a more bespoke approach, schools can book specialist teachers to deliver and support with a multitude of musical activities including school based live performances in weekly assemblies, small group instrumental teaching, school ensemble development and compositional groups, all charged at an hourly rate across 31 weeks of delivery.
- CIL+ 1hour 15 minutes weekly contact time delivery.
A weekly 45-minute whole class session + additional 30 minutes 121 or small group tuition for continuers.
- CIL Ensemble 1hour 30 minutes weekly contact time delivery.
A weekly 45-minute whole class session feeding into a 45 minute school ensemble rehearsing at the end of the school day.
- CIL Encore - 2 hours weekly contact time delivery.
A weekly 45-minute whole class session + additional 30 minutes 121 or small group tuition for continuers followed by a 45 minute school ensemble rehearsing at the end of the school day.
- CIL Bespoke 45 minute weekly contact time delivery.

To support the financial impact on budgets, schools have the option to invoice the full or part amount to parents/carers for the additional time past CIL delivery.
Online training for all school staff is included in the price of Musician in Residence package.
