Covering the NC requirement to 'Use and understand staff and other musical notations,' this online session will help staff get to grips with everything they need to know and how to apply this musically in the classroom. Covers the early introduction of notation from graphic form, through to stick and dot notation, before moving on to standard notation taught in KS2.
Great for a whole staff meeting or Music Lead / individual staff unsure of notation
Cost: FREE to schools who have booked a CIL (Classroom instrumental Learning project) for 2026/27.
£10 per person for schools without a CIL booking with us
£10 per person if teaching in schools outside of Leicester & Leicestershire
Suitable for: KS1 & 2, Classroom teachers delivering curriculum music lessons
Cancellation Policy - A full refund will be given if 28 days' notice of cancellation is received. Please contact LMTraining@leics.gov.uk should you need to cancel your booking within the 28 day notice period. If the cancellation is within the 28 day period, no refund will be given.
