Teaching Primary Music with Confidence

Aimed at ECTs, TAs and teachers lacking in confidence or experience of music teaching, this training session will offer practical tips and advice to overcome some of the barriers teachers may face. Topics include;

• Familiarity with using classroom instruments
• Understanding what we mean by the 'Inter-related dimensions' of music
• Building confidence with singing
• Introducing active listening and appraising into your classroom
• The nuts and bolts of notation

Adaptive teaching strategies and classroom logistics

Coat: £100 for 1 person

*Additional £50 'buddy price' for each extra person attending from the same school
