A session for music leads and teachers tasked with the job of creating a primary ensemble. Suitable for music specialists and non-specialists. We will look at:
- Where and how to begin
- The "whys" of leading an ensemble
- What does the NPME state and how can this work in your setting
- Tips for working within your own confidence level
- Considering all key stages, experience levels and needs
- Longevity and progression for your ensemble

Cost: FREE to schools who have booked a CIL (Classroom instrumental Learning project) for 2026/27.
£10 pp for schools without a CIL booking with us
£10 per person if teaching in schools outside of Leicester & Leicestershire
Suitable for: KS1 & 2
Cancellation Policy - A full refund will be given if 28 days' notice of cancellation is received. Please contact LMTraining@leics.gov.uk should you need to cancel your booking within the 28 day notice period. If the cancellation is within the 28 day period, no refund will be given.
