Becoming an Effective Music Lead

A three-session course suitable for Music Leads new to the role or non-specialist music leads. The session covers key areas including;

• Creating an inclusive musical school community

• Establishing high quality singing and vocal work

• Supporting staff with instrumental work, including composition

• Using music technology to enhance your curriculum

• Utilising music to support a creative curriculum, personal development and wellbeing

Session A – 28th September 2026

Session B – 3rd February 2027

Session C – 19th May 2027

Cost: £180 (for all sessions)

Suitable for: KS1 &KS2 - Music Leads new to the role or non-specialist music leads

Cancellation Policy - A full refund will be given if 28 days' notice of cancellation is received. Please contact LMTraining@leics.gov.uk should you need to cancel your booking within the 28 day notice period. If the cancellation is within the 28 day period, no refund will be given.
