Oh Happy Days is back!
With its short programme of singing and song writing for primary school children.
Oh Happy Days provides quality opportunities for singing, song writing and performance and assists children to gain confidence, identify their vocal skills and talents and gain new experiences.
We are looking for 6 primary schools who can: -
- Identify 20 – 30 children who can form part of the choir.
- Identify 1 hour for rehearsals each week (9 weeks of rehearsals/1 performance)
- Secure photo/video consent for all children
- Collate opinions and suggestions of children on the project.
- Support the choir to attend the finale event (14th November, 2015 – Curve Theatre)
- Promote the project within the school and to friends and family of participants
- Pay the project fee of £300
The Steering Committee will support schools with: -
- Provision of a music leader to develop the choir, teach songs and support song writing.
- Organisation of the finale event
- Support to organise fundraising events
- Support with collation of feedback from children
- Promotion of the schools involvement in the project.
