A force for Musical Creativity for all young people in Leicester and Leicestershire

Leicester-Shire Music Education Hub is a collective of local and national partners and schools, working together to deliver the National Plan for Music Education to all young people aged 5-18 in Leicester and Leicestershire. In 1948 the very first Music Service opened its doors in Leicestershire, establishing a rich heritage of music education and opportunities for City and County students that continues to this day.

As in 1948, our aims are to provide all young people access to excellent classroom teaching, instrumental and vocal tuition, as well as providing clear opportunities for progression, from beginners through to our high quality central ensembles.
