Outstanding Music Subject Leadership Training - Reflection & Evaluation Follow Up Training

A good leader reflects and evaluates their practice. This session gives Music Coordinators the space to reflect on the learning and implementation of the Outstanding Music Subject Leadership training. During the session teachers will hold each other to account from the previous session and also have access to expert knowledge from Sarah Share,

Course Leader
Sarah Share has enjoyed Primary classroom teaching in schools in Leicester City and County and over time she has taught all primary year groups from EYFS to Year 6, including the role of Music Specialist. Sarah started working for LSMS in 2012 as the Area Music Leader for Leicester City in which she delivered whole class ensemble tuition on the flute and supported Music Coordinators in City schools. Sarah is currently the Specialist Leader in Education (Music) at LSMS; utilising her music degree, PGCE and teaching experience to support Primary Headteachers and Music Co-ordinators in providing their pupils with high quality music provision. Sarah implemented and led the creation of the LSMS Primary Music Curriculum, supported by group of LSMS Lead Practitioners and continues to deliver the training that goes alongside the LSMS Primary Music Curriculum. Sarah also leads the SEND work at Leicester-Shire Music Education Hub, introducing and embedding a range of exciting an innovative musical opportunities in SEN schools and the Children's Hospital School. Recently she led a group of teachers in creating the LSMS SEN Scheme of Work, which was nominated as an Outstanding SEND resource in The Music Teacher Awards.
