Course Description
Sing Up, the organisation with an 8-year history of supporting singing in Primary Schools has recently launched its secondary program. Shelly Ambury Head of Learning at Sing Up will explore simple ways to embed singing in your school. With the help of the new Sing Up resources you'll explore ways to use the voice to experience musical concepts and get to the heart of music making through singing. Delegates will be given some resources to take away in addition to learning about the sing up secondary resource and how to get the best from it. This course is suitable for those working with KS3 & 4.
Course Leader - Shelly Ambury
Shelly has wide-ranging experience of music and music education that includes working for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the BBC, singing professionally and leading choirs of all ages. She was a classroom music teacher for many years in London and the North East and is now Sing Up's Head of Learning.
