It's all about the Double Bass!

We want to introduce our new Double Bass Teacher – Andy Maycock!

Andy has a wealth of experience teaching and performing on Double Bass, initially learning with Leicestershire Music and performing in our LSSO before going on to study at the Royal Academy of Music and beyond!

Lessons in School
Andy is now teaching students within schools either on a 1:2:1 basis or as part of small group tuition. Students from 5 years upwards can benefit from his expert tuition, learning up to Grade 8 level and beyond. For more details / to arrange lessons, please contact Andy at andy.maycock@leics.gov.uk

Do you have a Double Bass in your school?
We're aware that some schools may have Double Basses unused and gathering dust. If you'd like Andy to visit your school to look over your double bass and help you restore your Double Bass back to its' former glory, please let us know. Your students could be using it to learn on!
