Important News about Leicester-Shire Schools Music Service!

We want to let you know about some important changes that are going to be taking place over the next few months.

Over the past year, we have been planning on how we can best connect with and support the young people of Leicester & Leicestershire with their music making. We have a new energy and direction, which we believe will begin to make a huge difference to the lives of young people, reflecting their musical needs and interests and providing fully inclusive opportunities allowing everyone to be involved in music making.

To mark this change, and the beginning of a new journey and chapter in our history, (we've been teaching music to young people in Leicestershire since 1948), we have made the decision to change our name to the more inclusive 'Leicestershire Music'. We'll still be working in partnership with schools and other local and regional music education organisations however any partnership working will now come under the name of 'Leicestershire Music Hub'.

Over the summer months we will be gradually working towards our re-launch in September 2021 but you may notice some changes to our emails, Social Media accounts and Website before then.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with and for you in our next exciting chapter as Leicestershire Music!
