Interactive workshops and performances using the latest cutting edge music technology
Royal Birmingham Conservatoire presents Digital Music Lab 2020. Schools and colleges are encouraged to bring their students and spend a day with professional musicians and digital music specialists.
• Performing with electronics – featuring Ministry of Brass. Combine live audio with electronics using loop and fx pedals, drum machines and Behringer Deepmind synths.
• Music production – featuring urban artist C4. Produce your own track using Logic, with guidance from producer C4 as heard on BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra
• Analogue Synths – featuring WelchRedneck. Explore the world of analogue sound synthesis using the Behringer Model D and Neutron synthesisers
Digital Music Lab is for young people aged 16 – 19 and is free to attend. Maximum of 45 places available per day of the Digital Music Lab. Schools and colleges will be allocated places on a first come first served basis. This day is ideal for your curriculum requirements and to inspire students to continue with music and music technology.
