Singers needed for 'Songs of Praise'

Songs of Praise is coming to Leicester on 29th and 30th October and require lots of lovely and enthusiastic singers filling the church. All ages are welcome though under 10s might find it difficult to concentrate for the recording sessions as they can be up to 3 hours long.

There will be two sessions at St James The Greater Church, London road, Leicester, a traditional recording on Saturday 29th and a gospel recording on Sunday 30th, both conducted by Ken Burton. We welcome both experienced and inexperienced singers alike though it is nice to have a good, strong core choir leading the singing.

Rehearsals for the gospel recording are on Thursday 27th October and rehearsals for the traditional recording are on Friday 28th October. Singers do not need to come to both recordings and both rehearsals though they are more than welcome to, congregation need only come to the recordings.

I have attached copies of the application forms if you would like to forward them around, ensemble leaders can either do a group booking or people can apply individually. The deadline for ticket applications is Thursday 20th October.
