Leicester Grand Music Festival

This festival is a non-profit event with the aim of bringing Leicestershire's music establishment together to provide the backbone for a unique concert where current young talent has the chance to perform to the wider public in historic venues.
Many former Leicestershire School students were fortunate to receive a free musical education at the hands of the various incarnations of the Leicestershire County School of Music over the past 68 years as well as perform with the LSSO in the UK and around Europe.
Whether you pursued a music career or only play as an amateur now is a chance to give back for one day to form an orchestra in the presence of King Richard III and enable young talent supplied by the School of Music and other organisations to perform.
It's also an opportunity to catch up with fellow ex-students ahead of the LSSO's 70th year celebrations.
