WANTED! Musicians to play for a prestigious new Philip Wilby composition on Friday 11th July

'The Shoemaker & the King' is a prestigious new choral piece that has been composed by Philip Wilby with lyrics by Ian McMillan. The piece has been commissioned by Leicester-shire Schools Music Service and will be premiered at Leicester Cathedral on Friday 11th July.
We need musicians to accompany the singers and are currently recruiting for the following;
Keyboard
Harp
Timpani
Flute
Clarinet (Bb)
You will need to play to a high standard and be able to attend rehearsals on Sunday 29th June at Oakham School (where Philip Wilby will lead the rehearsal) and then on the 11th July all day and early evening at the Cathedral. Scores will be sent out at the end of May to allow for preparation. The performance will be recorded professionally for CD.
