During the week of 30th November, the Music Tech Team at Leicester-Shire Schools Music Service will be offering free browser-based music lessons for KS2 and KS3 classes.
This one-hour session will be fun, informative and interactive and all participating students will be able to create their own song during the session. Why take part?
This is a great opportunity for your school and your students to find out more about music tech. It's a browser-based session meaning that it is free for everyone to participate and students can go home and explore on their own as well. Students can send examples of their work to the music tech team as part of a competition - open to all schools who take part!
What do we need to participate?
Classes taking part will need access to a computer (ideally one each) and access to the internet – so if your school has an ICT room or a class-set of laptops, this would be perfect. We have specifically chosen software that requires no logging in or signing up to allow for a smooth and uninterrupted start.
How do we sign up?
How do we take part on the day?
You will be sent a ticket for the session by Eventbrite which will enable you to access the zoom / teams link into the session. This is likely to be sent through in the days leading up to the event.
The ideal web browser for this session is google chrome so please make sure you have this on your laptops / computers prior to the session starting.
