Interested in joining a Performance Group?
Dear Parents / Carers / Students,
If you are new to the our service and are interested in joining one of our music making activities, we have a number of Performance Groups which rehearse on saturday mornings and weekday evenings. Information about each Group, including grade level, rehearsal venue, rehearsal and performance dates etc, can be found on our database where you can find out more about each group and register to join.
For more information about our Groups, please also watch our short video (to the right).
If you have any queries about our music making opportunities or performances, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are currently a member of a group, we will be in touch with you to let you know about groups / placings.
We are planning a more flexible approach to teaching in the autumn term, teaching will begin virtually, with the first sessions starting back on the week beginning Saturday 19th September. We are looking at a transition phase when lockdown is eased so we can begin face to face teaching again. Due to the current climate, we will be fully subsidising our ensembles until October half term, so there will be no charge to you.
We would like to thank everyone for their support during these challenging times and are looking to a bright future where we can all meet face to face again and continue our music making side by side.
We are especially looking for students who play the following;
Viola, Double Bass, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba, Oboe, Bassoon.
For all new pupils playing one of these instruments, the first term of membership is free followed by 50% subsidy for the rest of the academic year.
If you are new to the service and are interested in joining a Performance Group, or your circumstances have changed and you would like to re-join, please email email@example.com
We have an outstanding reputation for providing quality aspirational and motivating group and performance opportunities for students. Every group rehearses weekly practising repertoire to be performed at the end of each term in high quality venues around Leicestershire. At each performance there is chance for students and parents to see performances by other groups within the ensemble structure and also those given by our Hub partners including school groups.
We also run a variety of After School Activities in the City and County. Details of how to join are shown with the relevant activity information.
Information about Singing and Choirs can be found on our Singing Opportunities page.
