On the back of recent stellar performances by internationally acclaimed Russian pianist Roman Kosyakov and Leicester born cellist Griff Wadkin, Resonations returns to Leicester with an exciting treat delivered by premier postgraduate ensembles from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

The first of these February concerts is an evening of tango music by Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla. This concert will be rich in drama and passion, combining driving rhythm and bass with heartfelt melodies, painting a musical picture of Buenos Aires through each of the four seasons. Each season will be accompanied with artwork painted by the trio's very own Tanya Avchinnikova.
