Easy Saturday x Avant-Garden Creative Family Day
Saturday September 14th 12-4pm, LCB Depot, Leicester
This month at Easy Saturday we're experimenting with sound through our collaboration with Avant-Garden, creators of musical experiences in unique environments. Families have the opportunity to explore sound, experiment with music, make instruments and have a dance in a fun, free and creative space.. All for free!

Avant-Garden is run by experienced musicians who will guide playful musical adventures - Parents & Carers should feel free to bring your own instruments and join in The Easy Saturday regulars will be there too - Cattywampus free play, Moshpit minecraft, and when you've worked up an appetite, lunch will be available from LCB Depot's award winning onsite cafe Grays.
Event Coordinator Chris Slowe said "Sound and music is such an important part of a child's creative development and far too few get the chance to truly play around with sound. I can't wait to hear what they come up with on Saturday!"
If that wasn't enough Easy Saturday is part Cultural Quarter Earlies- free creative family activities at venues across the cultural quarter on the second Saturday of the month.

Parking: the NCP on Halford Street is £5.20 for all day parking - get your ticket stamped at Grays' counter
LCB Depot events all take place on our ground floor so are fully accessible.

Avant-Garden creates musical experiences in unique environments. This event is in association with Leicester based audio/video studio R10 and Brass of the Saff Easy Saturday is a FREE family day with drop-in creative activities for toddlers to ten-year-olds (and their grown ups) on the 2nd Saturday of every month at LCB Depot. CQ Earlies are free family workshops across the Cultural Quarter - at LCB Depot 2 Queens, Phoenix and Leicester Print Workshop on the second Saturday each month in 2019.
