Free Taiko drumming CPD opportunity from Bullfrog Arts.
Taiko drumming is a Japanese art-form that is very engaging, quick to learn and can be especially beneficial to children and young people who have difficulty in regulating their emotions or who display challenging behaviour.
The popular Twilight Teacher Taiko sessions provided by Bullfrog Arts in partnership with LeicesterShire Schools Music Service offer teachers, music leaders and other adults who support children and young people the opportunity to try out taiko, pick up a range of activities and approaches for leading taiko sessions and to meet other practitioners across Leicester and Leicestershire who are embarking on their taiko journey. All sessions are free of charge and are suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced Taiko Teachers.
The next session will take place on Tuesday 3rd July 2018, 4pm-6pm at Curve Theatre (60 Rutland St, Leicester LE1 1SB). Parking is available at the Rutland Street NCP car park next door to the theatre.
