Have you ever wanted a go on a pipe organ?
Have you ever looked at a Pipe Organ and wondered what all the buttons do?
In conjunction with the Royal College of Organists, English Martyrs is offering this unique opportunity for 10-14 year olds to have a free introduction to Organ playing.
Steven Grahl is Director of Music at Peterborough Cathedral, Principal Conductor of the Guildford Chamber Choir, and Musical Director of Peterborough Choral Society. He is active as a choral director, an organ recitalist and accompanist, a teacher, and a composer and arranger. Steven will introduce you to the organ, help you to play and conclude with an Extravaganza Concert.
Order of Events:
- Masterclass for under 18s in Organ Playing 11.00am - 1.00pm
- Have A Go Workshops 10-14s 2.00pm - 3.30pm
- Extravaganza Concert 4.00pm - 5.00pm
This is a free, ticketed event. No previous experience required.
All young people must be accompanied by an adult for the afternoon.
