This course is designed for players who want to explore chamber music repertoire, with the opportunity to work closely with the Villiers Quartet. Pre-formed chamber groups of any combination, including strings, piano, woodwind, and brass, are encouraged. The course begins at 12pm at Nottingham High School and includes breaks for tea & coffee. The course is open for students and adult amateur musicians. Groups can bring pieces they have been studying or are just beginning to learn. Participants can also choose to attend the Villiers Quartet "Russian Masterworks" afternoon concert at 3:00pm, featuring performances of Tchiakovsky and Shostakovich Quartets (Tickets £10/£7 concessions).
