Leics Sing! - Singing Opportunities

As a Hub partner, we stage around 50 major performances a year and hundreds of other performance opportunities for choirs and ensembles. Each year, we teach over 4500 pupils in over 200 schools.
If you would like to join a choir, band, orchestra or ensemble, please see the pages on joining a relevant group. These currently mostly show the groups that LSMS run in conjunction with The Leicester-Shire Music and Cultural Trust, but will gradually be expanded to include all other groups that we become aware of.
Please see our Ensembles brochure below for full information on all our Central Ensembles.

Leics Make Music - Summer 2020 Festival
At the end of the academic year we usually run a series of performances at De Montfort Hall in Leicester, featuring performances by schools, guest musicians and our own performance groups.
The pandemic meant that we were unable to do this so instead we worked with young people from the city and county to create an online festival 'Leics Make Music' - a 4 hour extravaganza which also featured the winning entries from our 'Soundtrack to Leicestershire' composition competition and a massed virtual choir directed by Mark De Lisser singing 'A Million Dreams'.
