Becoming an Effective Music Coordinator Session 3 – Using Technology in Primary Music Education

In this session you will consider the different types of technology that can be incorporated into the music curriculum, as well as free resources that can be used in stand-alone music technology lessons such as Launchpad Arcade and Chrome Experiments: Song Maker. You will also be introduced to other free music applications that can be accessed online.

All software is explored in this session will be linked to purposeful musical outcomes, ensuring that musical learning is at the heart of each activity.

NB: Music co-ordinators new to the role will receive ongoing support throughout their first year of CPD.

This is suitable for EYFS/KS1/KS2 - Music coordinators and lead music teachers in Primary, SEND and PRU settings.

The Becoming and Effective Music Coordinator course is made up of the following 5 sessions:

1 – Using musical instruments in the classroom (28/01/21)

2 – Composing, improvising and doodling (11/03/21)

3 – Using technology in primary music education (29/04/21)

4 – Music across the creative curriculum (13/05/21)

5 – Singing and vocal work (17/06/21)

Sign up to all next 5 sessions at a cost of £100 which includes a baseline Quality Mark meeting and a Quality Mark review, plus a certification of completion.

Delegates who wish to only sign up for individual sessions can do so at a cost of £30 per session (please note if all 5 are booked you will only be charged £100 otherwise you will be charged £30 for each session)
