Becoming an Effective Music Coordinator - Introduction

This CPD is an introduction to the role of the music coordinator in Primary, SEND and PRU settings.

The session will give you an overview of the National Curriculum and the National Plan for Music Education, and how the Leicester-Shire Music Service (LSMS) can support you in implementing and developing your music curriculum.

In this session we will explore the multi-faceted role of a music coordinator and will explore ways to create an inclusive musical community in your school.

You will have the opportunity to share your starting points and identify any areas for development from the information shared.

By the end of the session you will be armed with ideas, free resources and the knowledge to begin your journey to becoming an effective music coordinator.
