Singposium – Leicester-Shire Music Service's first ever Singposium! A special event designed for anyone working with young singers. Exchange ideas and learn from experts, improve the quality of singing with your young people and learn to look after your own voice and that of your students.
Who is it for?
Open to all music educators with an interest in singing whether you:
- Teach music in a Primary, Secondary or Special school
- Lead musical productions for young people
- Lead music across the school as a Music co-ordinator or Head of Department
- Run a community based group
The overall aim for Singposium is to help singing leaders improve the quality of singing. Workshops include vocal health for teachers and pupils, basic conducting for choir leaders and tips and tricks for improving your school singing performances. You will come away feeling enthused with new repertoire and ideas to try, improved confidence in your ability to improve the sound your singers make and a newly invigorated zest for getting young people to sing!
