During the hour-long concert, they'll tap their toes to all sorts of groovy jazz rhythms and learn more about each of the instruments and their role in creating swinging Music. Accompanying the concert will be a digital resource pack, to help you get creative with Music in the classroom. It will include games and exercise relevant to the KS2 curriculum and playlists & interviews for your class to find out more about Jazz.

Every Jazz fan remembers their first gig, the one that sparked a lifelong love of Music: Sinatra at the Sands, Armstrong at the Cotton Club…or the National Youth Jazz Orchestra Live in Leicester!

NYJO is made up of 23 of the UK's best young musicians and is led by Artistic Director, Mark Armstrong. In this special KS2 concert, they will lift the lid on how Jazz works.
