Leicester MusicFest 2018's grand opening will be an exciting production of this favourite Baroque opera, featuring professional soloists, Hesperides Quartet on period instruments, Leicester University Chamber Choir and English Martyrs' Schola Cantorum. The performance will be introduced by Professor Nigel Simeone (of BBC Radio 4's Tales From the Stave), and the evening will close with a celebratory drinks reception.
