FREE Wind Band / String Workshops

Venue: Hinckley Academy and John Cleveland 6th Form College, Butt Lane, Hinckley LE10 1LE
On Tuesday 31st October we will be holding special Wind band & Strings Workshops for any wind / brass / string players in the local area. These will take place at the Hinckley Area Music Centre, Hinckley Academy and John Cleveland 6th form College.
The workshops will be led by staff from Leicester-Shire Schools Music Service - Sophie Gray (Wind / Brass) and Natasha Pattinson (Strings). Wind /brass players will be joining regular members of HAMC's Wind band Ensemble whilst Strings players will be joining regular members of HAMC's String Ensemble.
The workshops are for players of all standards from beginners to grade 3/4 and will be held in the Music department from 5.00pm - 6.00pm. You will be welcome to join us for a presentation at 5.45pm - 6.00pm.
Our workshops are an excellent and enjoyable opportunity for your young musician to develop their skills in an ensemble. There is no cost, just email Natasha Pattinson at natasha.pattinson@leics.gov.uk by 31st October 2017 to reserve your place.
