Course description
The course will be tailored to the needs of the delegates, but will include:
• A detailed guide to GarageBand for iPad
• An overview of other apps including:
1. Thumbjam
2. LoopyHD
3. Loopseque
4. Madpad
5. Bloom
6. Bebot
7. Airvox
• Composition / song writing methods that develop musical skill and knowledge through creative projects
• Individual and collective Improvision
• Using iPads in SEN/D settings
• Equipment options and classroom setups
• Creating music videos
• Effective ways to publish music on the internet
• Mixing iPads with acoustic instruments
• Creating iPad ensembles
A comprehensive resource pack allows delegates to disseminate the information from the training to their colleagues, facilitating high-quality delivery across the school. You will also be given an electronic copy of Teaching music with iPads by Ben Sellers. This course is suitable for primary and special school specialists and non-specialists, class teachers, NQTs, TAs and music co-ordinators who will be training other staff.
